Bio: IAMX

Lately, I fell in love with IAMX's song "This Will Make You Love Again". Anyone who knows Chris Corner's solo project definitly knows this song, that is so filled with emotions, not only on the lyrics but in the melody. If you don't IAMX, keep on reading :)

IAMX is, as I said, the solo project of Chris Corner, vocalist of Sneaker Pimps. His lyrics as I know are mostly about everything: sex, death, religion, emotions, etc. Chris is an english musican and songwriter, but in these days he lives in Berlim, which he prefered to care less with music and find an independent way for him.

Since 2004, there's 4 albums, Kiss + Swallow, The Alternative, Kingdom of Welcome Addiction and DOGMATIC INFIDEL COMEDOWN OK. IAMX has about 13 singles, some of them are Yor Joy is My Low, Kiss and Swallow, Missile, Spit It Out, The Alternative, President, Tear Garden, My Secret Friend, and much more. I just know few songs, so I'll leave them here:

What is A Varsity Jacket?

Have you heard of the varsity jacket? It's normal that you haven't heard the name, but you clearly know those type of jackets that the athletes and jocks of high school wear. They're pretty common in TV series and movies around all the school theme and football.

They are absolutly a trend for the winter 2012, and in fact, I've seen plenty of people in my high school (especially girls) that wear this. I actually have one, but I never used. It's old, very very used and it was from my dad :/

The Minimalism Style

The minimalism is present in decoration, fashion, and plenty more. If you're the kind of girl that avoids wearing too much acessories, too many colors on a outfit, just using neutral tones, then you're probably a very minimalist girl! It was actually very popular on the 90's, but more fashion designers have been adopting this style again. 

It's all about a sophisticated touch with simple designs, but in very high-quality and chic fabrics. It can reveal an elegant woman, counting that she doesn't makes too much efforts to be beautiful. You can also have an observation on Angelina Jolie's personal style, which has a lot of neutral colors and it's very sophisticated, but at the same time basic.

I felt that I had to put a make up tutorial vid here, and I had that idea when I was looking around on panacea81's channel. Anyways, hope you guys like it! I think it's a basic make up for a Halloween day, and it's also pretty wearble for a normal day.

Some Awesome Movies To Watch On Halloween!

Hopefully you guys aren't tired of my Halloween articles lately! It's just that this date is so memorable and unique, that I couldn't stop of talking it on my blog. Today, I have some advices of movies you can watch. Horror, supernatural, animated, whatever!

THE RING

Who the hell doesn't know this movie already?! Well, it happens to be my favorite horror movie and it's definitly something you have to watch. A journalist tries to know what's behind her niece's death, but she finds more than she was expecting, that makes her curious to know what happened to Samara Morgan. 

NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Also one of my favorites movies, and it was one of the first movies of Tim Burton. It's definitly not a horror movie, but the story make us even more interested and it gives some moments to laugh. It's the most entertaining movie I've ever seen! It tells the story of Jack Skellington, that happens to be the local hero in Hallloween town, but then he discovers other town, a very christmas and jolly place, that makes him change everything to look like Christmas.

INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE

A movie adapted from Anne Rice's classic, Interview With The Vampire. It contains some nudity, but nowadays nobody gives a damn about that... Still, it's completly interesting, entertaining, imaginitive and in a certain way, beautiful. Louis Pointe Du Lac is the vampire who seeds the interview for a young journalist, telling him everything that happened since the day he became a vampire, thanks to Lestat de Lioncourt.

THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW

Awkward how I just remembered of that movie right now. I haven't seen it a while, but the director is the same as Nightmare Before Christmas. I consider the best movie with Johnny Depp, and the female protagonist is Christina Ricci, also a great actress. It tells the story about a man who visits a small village in search to find the guilty of all the murders that happens there. You probably know the guilty one, but there's a twist that you wouldn't expect!

NOSFERATU

I find so sad that people know this figure, but they don't know where his from or what his name! Anyways, you can find the old black&white version (soundless), and the german one (with colors and sound). I prefer the german one and it was kinda hard to find, but I actually saw the movie. It's based on the Dracula story, when Jonathan leaves his lover Mina to visit a count, that is interested to buy a house in their neighbourhood. Count Orlok is a vampire, and like the sotry tells, he gets even more interested not in the house, but Mina.

Bio: Jena Lee (France)

I think it's a little bit important when it comes to music to accept the others from part of the world. I'm no french girl, my french is terrible, but I sort of got used to listening to Jena Lee... You'll understand later why I got pretty addicted ;P

Born Sylvia Garcia on 29 July 1987, in Chile, is more commonly known as Jena Lee, a french singer. At the age of nine months, she was adopted by a french family and since then, she grow up at the Pyrénées-Atlantiques (as far as I know, it's on the very south of France, on the fronteer with Spain). At the age of 4, she got her first love for music.

Jena got famous by her first hit single "J'aimerais Tellement" (the first song which I actually heard from her, thanks to my french teacher), which translation means "I Would Love So Much", next to her first album "Vous Remercier", which means "Thank You".

Defining her style, Jena herself describes as a mix of emo and R&B, and one of her songs is also called "emo r&b". Other of her songs are Je Me Perds (I lose myself), Du Style ( = style), U.S Boy, Mon Ange (my angel), and featuring a french rock band Eskemo, Etérnise Moi (perpetuate me).
